Job
Summary:
Responsible for the overall product/project management, development schedules and resource allocation for new game development. The role of a producer is to work with the team to reach its goals by ensuring development runs smoothly, assisting in communication between the departments and the team, and helping the team stay on task with ongoing projects. Wholly responsible for project schedules and the timely delivery of a high quality product.
Essential Job Functions:
Pre-release responsibilities focused on completing the game on time for release. This means scheduling design, art, and programing so that teams have the assets they need to do the work they need to do
Post-release responsibilities using the iterative process and using analytics to improve the game's key performance indicators. Working closely with Business Intelligence to make decisions regarding on which areas the team should focus on that will have the greatest impact
Directs the game development and demonstrates final authority within the team by:
Managing the initial and ongoing development of detailed written game and technical specifications
Making informed long-term decisions where changes in the game or technical specifications are required / proposed
Reviewing the game with quality and consistency in mind and provide constructive feedback
Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees.
Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, benchmarks, and release
Lead regular planning and review sessions with team members; identifying future problems and work to avoid them
Responsible for schedule Quality Assurance
Drive the game development and lead the team by:

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required
Experience:
5-7 years of professional work experience
2
years of experience leading teams or managing projects
Project management experience and demonstrable track record of scheduling and completing projects on time
Experience with software development environments
Proven track record of delivering original software products (ideally entertainment software) from start to finish as Producer/Project Lead
Preferred
Experience:
Knowledge of current trends in video gaming and online gaming in the mobile, social/casual, console, and PC markets
Familiarity with game play features of current casino video and mechanical slots
Video game development, particularly in mathematical and puzzle games
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of game mechanics, balancing, pacing, and monetization strategies for retail, mobile, casual, and free-to-play games
Passion to create fun games with an engaging player experience
Adept with Word and Excel
Ability to work well in a team environment
High proficiency in Project management software (Microsoft project, basecamp, etc.)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent time management skills

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
