Commissions Specialist

Responsible for processing all sales commission settlements due to Field Marketers at approximately 30 Titan retail stores. This included all verification of proper margin base on each individual sales packet, calculation of commission due on each sale, approval flow from store managers and regional managers and ultimate payment to each Field Marketer.
Process sales packet received from wholegoods department for commission payments based on Titan Field Marketer payment matrix
Process commission supplements for adjustments made to actual product margin after initial commission payment to field marketer
Work with payroll to execute payment to Field Marketers
Work with Region Managers to implement periodic incentive plans
Compile amounts due by reporting period for reporting into General Ledger at store level
Update reporting package for monthly reports to Region Managers, Store Managers and Titan Senior Management
Follow up with Field Marketers on any questions on payments/adjustments/policies
Stay current on Commission washouts for items that no longer qualify
2 or 4-year degree in Accounting or Business
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to operate in a fast-pace, changing environment
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of accounting software such as JD Edwards or DIS
Keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative and ability to work independently
Ability to work with diverse people/personalities
Strong understanding of business practices.
Physical Requirements
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
