A leading manufacturer of industrial products is looking for a Quality Manager for one of their plants near Longview, TX. The Quality Manager will lead efforts to continuously improve customer quality and to develop and maintain the ISO 9001 quality management system. This includes internal audits, third-party audits, supplier quality, complaint investigations, continuous improvement projects, management of the calibration system and production support through SPC and advanced statistical analysis. This is a hands-on position and a significant amount of time will be required on the shop floor. He or she will have supervisory and administrative duties over Quality Engineers and Technicians. The Quality Manager will also support other manufacturing plants in the US and overseas, as needed. A 4-year degree from an accredited university is required, along with at least 4 years of manufacturing quality management experience. A technical degree is preferred. Quality Supervisors and Senior Quality Engineers with some supervisory experience will be considered. Knowledge of ceramic processes and applications is also preferred. Travel is expected to be
