Title: Human Dimension Analyst Task Lead Location: Kansas-Leavenworth
Key Role:
Serve as a task order lead of a human dimension analysis team within the US Army Mission Command Center of Excellence (MCCoE) and supervise the team in providing continuous analytical support services. Support the analysis of cognitive, social, and physical aspects of the human dimension and analyze potential contributions of science and technology opportunities as it relates to Mission Command while addressing a wide range of issues in the area of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF). Leverage familiarity with the Mission Command Army Functional Concept, the Army Human Dimension Concept, and emerging Mission Command Human Dimension Areas of Equity, including cognitive dominance, such as improved cognition, emotional intelligence, intelligence quotient, problem solving, decision making, attention, and memory, optimization of human performance, such as improved ethical decision-making, accelerated inculcation of Army values, and leadership theory, and institutional agility, such as talent management, accelerated learning, and leader development. Execute analysis through collaboration across the Human Dimension community of practice, including the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Mission Command Center of Excellence, the DOMTLPF Domain Leads, HQDA, US Army Forces Command, and relevant Program Executive Offices and Program Managers. Engage appropriate TRADOC, Army, and other associated Human Dimension communities of practice and interest and subject matter experts to collaborate on Human Dimension efforts, research published and ongoing efforts in the Mission Command Human Dimension Areas of Equity and analysis of the Mission Command and Human Dimension capabilities and products, develop whitepapers for Human Dimension areas of equity, and conduct analysis, develop content, and prepare draft briefings using approved standard PowerPoint templates. Travel up to 15% of the time to various locations involved with the MCCoE HD efforts, to unit locations to interview key leaders and attend periodic working group meetings in support of these efforts. These activities account for 95% of the candidate's effort and the position is located in Fort Leavenworth, KN.
Basic
Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
-Knowledge of the US Army and its organizations, programs, policies, and systems for leader development
-Knowledge of the Mission Command Army Functional Concept and the Army Human Dimension Concept
-Knowledge of cognitive dominance, including improved cognition, improved emotional intelligence, improved intelligence quotient, improved problem solving and decision making, and improved attention and memory, optimization of human performance, including improved ethical decision-making, accelerated inculcation of army values, and leadership theory, and institutional agility, including talent management, accelerated learning, and leader development
-Secret clearance
-PhD degree in Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Educational/Instructional Design, Learning Science, or Training Development
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC)
-Experience with headquarters processes, including requirements development and developing and organizational strategies
-Knowledge of Army capability developments processes and the Joint Capability Development Integration System (JCIDS)
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to address senior officers at the Colonel level or above
