Pure Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced CVOR First Assist, CST tech traveler for a 13 week assignment in Missouri - beautiful location in Lake of the Ozarks.
Day shift with call
4, 10 Hour Days
Must be able to float to other areas of surgery on occasion

The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist First Assist (CST/FA or CST/CFA) functions as a surgical first assistant to the surgeon during cardiac surgical procedures working under the direction and supervision of that surgeon and in accordance with hospital policy and appropriate laws and regulations. Assists the surgeon by positioning, prepping and draping the patient, retracting tissue, suturing and ligating tissue, suctioning and applying dressings. Harvests the vein to be used for coronary grafts endoscopically and/or via open incisions. The CVOR first assistant assists in non-cardiac surgical procedures when not needed for cardiac procedures. The first assist does not function as a surgical technician and surgical first assistant concurrently. On occasion the surgical first assistant may have to perform the duties of a surgical technician. All surgical staff assists with room turn over.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Required: 2 years of cardiovascular experience
Current BLS
Current Immunizations
National Certification
Job Type: Full-time/ContractEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
