As a lead of the Policy development team within Corporate Banking Technology you will be responsible for:
Leading and mentoring a team of on-site and off-shore developers to design and develop firm wide policy service
To analyze the problem space, evaluate various implementation options and define the architecture and design strategy for the product
Partner with various technology and business teams in the bank to drive towards firm-wide adoption of the tool
Build and support various Java/J2EE based components.
Making enhancements to various Java and web service APIs as required to meet business or audit requirements.
Providing general technical support for the product.
Provide comprehensive consultation to business units and IT management and staff at the highest technical level.
Additionally, you will research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations on improving the product to meet business and information risk requirements.
Evaluate service level issues and suggested enhancements to diagnose and address underlying system problems and inefficiencies.
Participate in full development lifecycle activities for the product (coding, testing, release activities).

years of software development experience from inception through implementation
Experience with design, development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment with understanding of various technology areas, frameworks and products
Experience in IBM WebSphere Operation Decision Management software (WODM) v 8.x (formerly known as ILOG JRules) or similar rule engines is a MUST
At least 1 year experience in implementing detailed rules, following appropriate syntax and using standard vocabulary
At least 1 year experience in validating rules against the object model and data model
Experience with object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns

years experience with Java/J2EE. Must be very strong on core Java and J2EE
3
years experience working in both Unix and Windows environments
3
years experience in Oracle/Sybase RDBMS
Working knowledge of Web services (SOAP/REST)
Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethics
Desired Skills:
Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization from application developer perspective
Experience with web application performance tuning
Experience with user interface design using various UI technologies
Basic knowledge of identity & access management concepts

years experience with Strusts 2.0 and above Spring3.0 and above (Spring core, Spring JDBC,Spring MVC) is preferred

years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax is preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
