The Assistant Athletics Director for External Operations is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Oklahoma Baptist University Athletics Department's Development, Annual Giving, Licensing Corporate Sponsorship programs oversees ticketing, game day management and Athletic Media Relations.
Under the Direction of the Director of Athletics in coordination with the Vice President for University Advancement, the Assistant Athletics Director for External Operations assists in the planning, budgeting, organizing and implementation of a comprehensive annual athletic fundraising program and corporate sponsorship program at OBU that is both strategically and operationally in harmony with OBU's overall fundraising goals and objectives for gift support and budget support. Included in this role is the responsibility to initiate and implement a broad range of annual giving, major gift, and licensing and corporate sponsorship programs.

Knowledge, Skllls and Abilities:
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be organized and able to multi-task.
Education:
Preferred: Master's degree in related field
Required: Bachelor's degree in related field
Experience:
Preferred: Minimum of four years of experience in athletic development
Required: Minimum of two years of experience in athletic administration
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs and climb four flights of stairs.
Special Requirements:
Active member of a local evangelical church
