Project Engineer

Electrical power generation client is currently seeking a Project Engineer responsible for a variety of different projects throughout the plant, including pumps, piping, ductwork, rotating equipment and other power plant systems in Plainfield, IN or Noblesville Generating Station. This is a 2 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates strongly preferred.
Responsibilities for the Project Engineer
Develop scopes, estimate cost, design solutions, write specifications and oversee O&M and Capital project installations
Some design work will be required
Requirements for the Project Engineer
4-year Engineer or Engineering Technologist degree
2
years experience in an industrial environment
Mechanical background (experience in specifying equipment, troubleshooting, and working with contractors)
Utility background and familiarity with boilers, combustion turbines or HRSG's is preferred
