Travel Tags has a new opportunity for aPressroom Leadat our Inver Grove Heights location. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to be a Leadin our Litho department. In this position you will assist in answering questions regarding specific customer orders and support the supervisor and the Company in decisions.
NOTE:This is a PM shift working Monday-Friday, 5:45pm-2:15am
Job
Responsibilities:
Able to assume supervisory duties as needed
Ability to backup Operators as needed/capable
Responsible for completing and sending Litho done list and recap report
Responsible for approving color and register on all presses
Responsible for ensuring quality procedures are followed
Responsible for ensuring production standards are attained
Responsible for directing the Litho support persons daily workload
Locate and distribute materials needed for each machine in a timely manner
Identify material, supply, and staff shortages and report to Supervisor
Troubleshoot equipment, working closely with operators & Maintenance staff to determine root causes of issues
Demonstrate leadership qualities as a role model to the employees
Ensure employees are working safely at all times, and be aware of any safety hazards in the department
Train & assist new employees in the department
Other duties as needed or assigned by Management
High School Diploma
Some technical or college education preferred but not required
1 year of Lead person or supervisory experience preferred, but not required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Litho department, printing or manufacturing environment required
Mechanical ability
Good communication skills
Able to Multi Task
Good organizational skills
Detail oriented
Flexible working schedule
Problem solving skills
Computer skills (MS Office Preferred)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must pass Color Acuity Test with Average Rating
Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
Must be able to stand for 12 hours
Must be able to give and receive direction
Must be team oriented
Mechanical aptitude
