Primary support for all aspects of enterprise servers and associated supporting equipment (SAN, NAS, Tape Libraries and non-network appliances). Responsible for all computing facilities, all enterprise backup services and for all server and application monitoring and management
Job Duties:
Responsible for all facilities, corporate office centers, retail store locations and two primary data centers along with an alternate computing site.
Primary responsibility for all enterprise backup services utilizing SyncSort BEX.
Primary responsibilities include design, implementation and documentation of the current infrastructure utilizing Best of Breed technologies and methodologies.
Primary escalation point for all issues involving servers, components, applicable applications and performance.
Provides mentoring to all technicians on change management and troubleshooting methodologies.
Maintain and support Intel, VMware and SAN environments. The Intel platform is running both Microsoft and Open source operating systems.
Management Applications include, but are not limited to; Active Directory, LDAP, SCCM, SCOM, Nagios. Enterprise server applications include, but are not limited to; Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server. The Storage networks include both EMC and NetApp systems running iSCSI and fiber channel. Implementation, configuration and support of the VMware environment running VMware 4.x enterprise. Support and maintain communications servers including Good Technologies and Blackberry Enterprise Server.
Responsible for all systems and data security including compliance and reporting.
Participate in after-hours coverage rotation or as on-call reinforcements for critical events.
Manage server systems implementations or upgrades as projects arise as well as monthly/periodic maintenance evening events.
Job Requirements:
Must have 6-10 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX.
Experience with Microsoft TCP /IP based networks
Advanced experience with Microsoft Software and associated server tools
Will consider an Associates Degree with a Technical focus / degree plus 7 years related experience
MSCE is preferred but not required
Open Systems experience.
CISSP or similar security certification is preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
