We are currently looking for a success-driven Senior Analyst for our Bethpage, Long Island location. We offer free shuttle bus service 4x a day from the LIRR station for those that commute via mass transit.
The Senior Analyst of Operations Data Analysis is responsible for overseeing project administration and report on initiatives across all Network Management and Field Operations departments. The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Director, Operations Data Analysis to design and implement creative solutions, institute rigor and consistency around implementation approach, as well as drive success-based metrics for assigned project initiatives. Key responsibilities include tracking operational results and ensuring projects are completed on time and meeting project objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
o Tracking operational performance and results tying results back to initiatives and distributing reports to business units.
o Analyzing data, trends or obstacles, identifying root cause and considering available solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
o Monitoring project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against the project performance baseline.
o Ad-hoc development and data analysis for executive management requests.
o Project oversight on assigned projects.
Responsiblities:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, or some other advanced analytical degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree a plus.
A minimum of 6 years of related experience in the cable industry overseeing project administrations and implementation
An ability to present and discuss technical, functional and management information in a clear and concise way that explains complex topics, is persuasive and promotes consensus.
Ability to prepare executive level analysis and presentations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Power Point.
Proficiency in collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Must have meticulous data testing techniques and functional reporting abilities.
Requires a strong understanding of budget and forecasting concepts.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
