Skills Required
Must have proven knowledge of majority of the shipping department.
Must be willing to learn and follow safety rules, plant rules and procedures.
Good attendance is required--two (2) or less occurrences actively on the record.
Work history must be acceptable--no major policy infractions.
Summary of Job Duties/
Responsibilities:
Must be capable of performing any job in the shipping area at a qualified status. Will fill in for
absent employees if necessary. Will assist supervisor, manifestor and hourly employees in
organizing and loading of outbound loads. Responsible for accurate and timely completion of
loads. Will assist with proper job and safety training of employees. Must promote safety and
lead by example.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
