The Software Development Manager
Works with IT Leadership to establish strategic direction, operating policies, and aids in major project planning and execution.
Provide leadership, motivation, direction and appraisal to direct reports. Lead and mentor developers, test engineers and project management staff toward a process-oriented environment that drives continuous improvement.
Provide Technological Leadership by mentoring engineers & architects on relevant technology tools/products/methodologies/languages, such as:
Multi-tiered systems
REST Web Services
Mobile Development
NoSQL Databases
Python
UML
4+1
HTML5/Javascript
Must be able to plan, design, architect at a high level and understand software modules/data structures at a detailed level as well.
Serves as a key manager working cross functionally and collaboratively with peers to define and execute on business objectives.
On time product delivery of high quality code that delivers to the product roadmap.
Directs software engineers in developing, testing, releasing, and maintaining software applications according to business needs.
Manage multiple and changing priorities for team as they relate to other teams. Day to day management of team by setting priorities and goals.
Collaborate in defining and implementing software product development methodologies and processes to ensure product quality.
Enhance and continuously improve internal and external processes that contribute to customer satisfaction with focus on product scalability, stability, consistent customer experiences and quality customer experiences.
Monitor key operational metrics on a weekly basis, and proactively address roadblocks and areas of risk, ensuring strong results for the team.
Act as escalation point for critical customer related issues that cannot be addressed by development, implementation and support teams.
Responsible for collaboration on product and technology innovation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field -or- 8
year's relevant experience in lieu of Degree
3 - 8 years minimum Relevant Technological Experience
2 to 5 years minimum Supervisory Experience

Good knowledge of information technology industry trends, products, techniques, technologies and processes

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
