Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for Large Global Manufacturing Company
The New Product Development Assembly Manufacturing Engineer's responsibilities will include:
Participation in concurrent product development and manufacturing engineering activities including, assistance in development of designs from a DFM/DFA perspective, process and methods development and optimization, purchase of tooling and equipment, development of work instructions and labor standards, factory modernization and layout, and implementation and launch related activities of new product. The role will focus on new product designs and implementation of new manufacturing processes and concepts. Will act as a technical resource on multi-functional product development teams. Some travel may be required but not very infrequent.
The role will also require supervisory skills and direction of project team Manufacturing Engineers assigned to the program ensuring that work is being done accurately, completely, and on time. Required
Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Related Degree. 5-10 Years experience in Manufacturing or Design Engineering. Previous experience working with Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, Lean Manufacturing, and Assembly Planning Processes. Detailed knowledge of Assembly. Must be Goal-Oriented, possess strong written and oral communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment. Project Management Skills extremely beneficial.

- Long-term contract assignment up to 18 months. Likely, to exceed 18 months, with corporate approval.
$30-35/hrEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
