ILLINOIS NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the IllinoisNational Guard. THIS IS NOT AN ALL INCLUSIVE LIST OF DUTIES:
Develops, manages and implements daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational and maintenance plans for assigned general and special purpose vehicles and a variety of equipment. Projects parts, contract services, funds, and personnel required. Coordinates master maintenance schedules with base functions and management personnel. Assigns work priorities for all scheduled/unscheduled maintenance. Schedules vehicles and equipment for repair, inspections, and preventative maintenance based on consideration of sho capability and requirements of the unit. Schedules and conducts daily maintenance planning meeting to refine and incorporate unscheduled maintenance requirements. Performs analysis on a wide range of production indicators to assist in improving productivity or in determining causes of production delays. Manages and audits cost data to ensure all material is validated and properly charged. This position is the single POC for all vehicle authorizations and assets between the SRAN and major command (MAJCOM). Manages the Registered Equipment Management System (REMS). Manages Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) program. The incumbent acts as the primary source of expertise for material control, to include ordering parts and equipment items through SBSS and tool inventory of tool crib and composite tool kits (CTK's) annually. Conducts training for assigned military personnel.
GENERAL
Experience: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.
SPECIALIZED
Experience: GS-09 level: Must possess24 months experience, education or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. GS-07 level: Must possess 12 months:experience, education or training working with people from various levels and backgrounds. Experience with a general knowledge of the functions and procedures of production control, records, references, and techniques for developing production control data. Experience assisting or maintaining workflow. GS-05 level: Must possess 6 months: experience, education or training which demonstrates the ability to collect and compile information from supported organizations, procurement inspection, supply and other activities. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to ascertain causes in delays in production and preparing reports on status of certain projects.
_Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience_ - Completion of 2 academic years of education in an accredited college or university will satisfy the requirements for GS-4 positions. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours)_beyond the second year_ is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience for GS-5 positions.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
