The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized and self-motivated. This position requires a candidate that is proficient in computers and can type with minimal errors at 36wpm or more. HR Generalists should be comfortable assisting in various areas of the human resource department. This position will primarily be responsible for data entry within the department. Candidates will be assisting with Worker's Compensation paperwork and directing employees to the proper resources when they call with questions. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and by applying for the position you recognize that nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties or responsibilities to this job at any time. You may be asked to help in other areas of the building as needed for the optimal performance of your building/department and the well-being of our residents.
Essential Job Functions:
As Corporate Human Resource Generalist at Grace Management Services you will be responsible for related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, administrative, and compensation.
Assists department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
Audits facility payroll for accuracy of compensation and federal and state regulations.
Assists in maintaining Human Resource Information System records and complies reports from database as needed.
Conducts new hire checks.
Assists in benefits administration to include preparing invoices for payment.
Maintains other records, reports, and logs pertaining to employee information.
Provides back up phone coverage for front desk phones.
Responsible for maintaining current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.
Continually reviews job functions for efficiency and monitors cost.
Responsible for Administrative Assistant duties for VP of Human Resources.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.
Good time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Works well in a team environment.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Job Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resource Management, or one to two years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education or experience.
All candidates must be proficient in basic computer programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel and Microsoft Operating Systems. Applicants must be able to correspond timely through e-mail, phone, text messaging or other forms of technical communication as needed to successfully complete the requirements for this job. It is required for this position that candidates are able to type at least 36 words per minute. Computer and/or typing tests may be given to candidates for this position as part of the interview process.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
