General Summary
Determines the demand for products and services offered by the organization by managing Marketing programs and research and analyses. May be responsible for a market segment including development, Marketing research and analyses, pricing and advertising.
This position manages the planning and execution activities associated with the strategic assessment process for FedEx. This group works closely with senior leadership across FedEx business units, regions, and marketing functions to create and sustain long-term competitive advantage by providing actionable strategic insights through strategic thinking and analysis, leading all aspects of developing, analyzing, and executing the annual strategy assessment.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, execution, analytics, reporting, and decision-maker influence associated with annual strategy assessment process across the FedEx enterprise, including but not limited to:
Annual Corporate Strategic Assessment Review and Cadence
Ad-hoc Strategic Assessments and points of view creation for ongoing strategy issues/topics for senior leadership
Strategic Priority Identification, Communication, and Cascading of Goals & Tactics
Lead Strategy Summits to bring together strategy practitioners from across functions
Create, manage, and maintain global, cross Op-Co and cross divisional relationships to ensure strong alignment and implementation. Manage, assign resources, and conduct quality reviews to ensure credibility and thought-leadership.
Attributes/Experience Considered a Plus:
Directly related experience in Marketing, Finance, Strategic Planning, Portfolio Management, Business Quantitative Analysis, and/or Strategy/Operations consulting with a Fortune 500 or strategy consulting firm.
Two plus (2+) years experience in strategy formulation and implementation with a Fortune 500 company or strategy consulting firm
Demonstrated ability to lead, work cross functionally and think critically and strategically
Excellent quantitative / qualitative skills with the ability to present and communicate ideas in written and oral forms
Ability to develop a rapport with all levels of the organization and lead
Ability to work in unstructured environments with a process orientation to mine the details without losing the big picture
Track record of outstanding performance and demonstrated leadership skills
Masters degree would be a plus.

This position will be domiciled in Collierville, Tennessee. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, finance, marketing or other directly related discipline.
Five (5) years directly related experience in planning and analyses.
Demonstrated computer skills.
International, air freight, pricing or package transportation industry experience.
Transportation industry experience.
Strong basic management, human relations, communication and analytical skills.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
A related master's degree equals two years' experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
