We are now accepting applications for Production Graphics Project Manager in Altoona, PA.
Summary
Works with Senior Project Manager to assist in managing projects. Help to manage client's expectations through timely feedback and proactive communication. Understands the objectives of the project. Assists in driving the project to timely and profitable completion. Will take daily direction from Senior Project Manager however, could operate independently on smaller projects. Ability to preform graphic design responsibilities, which include inception creation and execution of sales derived client objectives; based upon internal and external business function input.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drives completion of tasks as warranted by each project under direction of Senior Project Manager.
Collaborate with Senior Project Manager and sales team in order to establish project parameters, project outline, expectations and time lines in support of the customer's needs.
Sits in up front project meetings (as per the Navigator Process). Packages and transfers project information to the team and manufacturing.
Helps to develop project plan for implementation. This includes making recommendations on the best method of production/management of the project (i.e. internal vs. outsourcing).
As the plan is developed, works with iDL manufacturing/vendors to set expectations for successful implementation. Is instrumental in identifying obstacles and makes recommendations to remove. This would include working with outside partners to ensure that they are doing the same.
Works with team estimator to provide timely and accurate estimates to client. Tracks costs throughout the project, actual vs. budget. Document additional costs to client as to capture invoicing. Document all non-invoice able costs for understanding of what happened to anticipated margin for review in project post mortem.
Visual communication deliverables (conceptual development).
Departmental critique and review (consultation with managers).
Approvals (engineering consultation; color/printing approvals; drafting consultation; purchasing consultation).
Submits fact sheets for the billing process.
Manages client inventory. Engage team resources to oversee this.
Meets with the clients as time permits.
All other duties as required.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point. Must also be comfortable navigating the internet.
Software expertise with Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator and, and general understanding of page layout software such as Quark or InDesign.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
