Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: The area of responsibility will generally cover, several of the following activities - Perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration
Thorough understanding of RF ancillary equipment and function. Carry out area and site surveys to identify RF equipment location and antenna orientation Analyze equipment co-location requirements for multiple operators Perform inter-modulation analysis Perform site candidate evaluation Support leasing/zoning teams as subject matter expert at zoning hearings Verify RF related site engineering drawings Perform site build verification and acceptance Undertake network performance improvement (KPIs) and optimization tasks Undertake BSS parameter audits, suggest and fine tune parameters Implement new S/W or BSS parameters for overall network improvement Log data integrity check (drill-down cluster acceptance KPI)
RAN parameter consistency check and feature implementation. Consult on IRAT implementation Review counter and system KPI report (e.g. CST, latency) Consult on change request, introduce/modify best practice, Undertake BSS parameter audits, suggest and fine tune parameters Implement new S/W or BSS parameters for overall network improvement RAN parameter translation, implementation of parameter change, consult on parameter setting, consult on RAN features OSS support OCNS implementation
Familiarity with AISG functionality and interworking. Thorough understanding of pilot pollution analysis and parameter reconfiguration
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
A minimum of 8 years work experience in RF Optimization.
A minimum of 2 years good work experience on LTE & VoLTE Optimization.
A minimum of 5 years good work experience on UMTS Optimization. Must have worked Ericsson UTRAN,
Self- motivated and ability to work under pressure, good interpersonal skills Strong communication skills required/Written and verbal
Reliability and strong organizational skills are a must. Ability to prioritize multiple task to completion Ability to work independently and complete tasks successfully Strong attention to detail Flexibility in ever changing environments and priorities Exhibiting initiative in achieving company goals and objectives Must meet minimum technical proficiency requirements
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
