Position Overview
The Packaging Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising a portion of warehouse activity on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Department Manager, the Lead is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. A Lead 1 has strong leadership skills, enforces policies and procedures, and is very active in training. Has additional areas of responsibility and is a strong candidate for a Supervisor position.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Versatile and self-motivated. Able to perform with limited supervision.
Strong people skills.
Very good communication skills.
Experience in shipping, loading and production functions.
Must be able to work flexible hours. This is a 2nd shift position for half the year
This is a Full Time Position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401k. Candidate must be able to pass a background check.
