Bowhead is looking for a NEN Specialist to provide customer support and technical assistance to users of a specific organization at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The NEN Specialist will beresponsiblefor applying diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures. Specific support consists of troubleshooting hardware, software, setting up/moving equipmentfor new users, manage and establish accounts for new employees (including paperwork (SAARs, etc.), asset management (track external hard drives, air cards, video camera, etc.), and network related issues encountered by NMCI users. This support will involve coordination with the Corporate IT Help Desk to maintain the established Trouble Ticket and Service Request process to track support using Remedy. The Specialist will also monitor the organizational mailbox to ensure that all users receive timely support in response to their requests for assistance, provide support for NMCI public folder management (e.g., permission and administrator roles), provide share drive management including administrative responsibilities, training content managers, and configuration management duties. Additional duties will include maintaining and developing IT related procedures required to support the organization, provide support to Information Management/Information Technology/and Information Assurance related data calls required of the Department Information Officer (DIO), and provide input for the preparation of a monthly progress and status report.

Must possess the ability to, effectively and efficiently, communicate verbally with the user community.
Must demonstrate the ability to multi-task and assist others by offering guidance on resolving NMCI issues through the problem reporting and escalating process.
A high level of competency in both written and oral communications skills is strongly desired.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED:Must be able toobtain a security clearance at theSecret level.
Required Experience
Bachelors Degree (preferred) and 1-3 years professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates must follow all company Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.
All post-secondary education listed on a Candidate s application and resume must be verifiable, including but not limited to dates of attendance and degree/diploma awarded. Post-secondary education includes any courses taken through an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
