Overview:
This is a temporary position and with a duration of January 2015.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical services to Directorate of Combat Developments (Mounted Requirements Division) to include managing and coordinating operational requirements, coordinating and developing new equipment training, and developing tactical scenarios and plans. Requires a solid Combat Vehicle background and some knowledge of the acquisition process. Coordinate and develop the ABCT Systems Operation Requirement Documents into JCIDS documents. Act as the DCD's primary interface with TRADOC agencies, FORSCOM agencies, PM ABCT, Headquarters Department of the Army, and Joint Chiefs of Staff. Maintain record copy of actions and correspondence to document effort required in providing assistance. Coordinate directly with the TRADOC Schools and Centers to obtain user perspectives and inputs to all aspects of the development and acquisition strategy to improve HBCT Systems with PM HBCT. Some information may be classified SECRET. Maintain record copy of actions and correspondence to document effort required in providing assistance.
Develop ABCT Family of Vehicles requirement documentation. Develop MCoE requirement documentation for the ABCT Family of Vehicles. Analyze and review Milestone documents and revisions (Mission Needs Statement (MNS), Operational Requirements Document (ORD), Capability Development Document (CDD), Capability Production Document (CPD), Joint Capability Document (JCD), and all other Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS) documentation, as well as comments received on those documents from other organizations. coordinate directly with the TRADOC Schools and Centers of Excellence to obtain user perspectives and inputs to all aspects of requirement development and acquisition activities related to ABCT vehicles. Provide ABCT Project Managers, user requirement information within one working day of request. Provide written documentation of any significant requirement changes. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A minimum of two years of college or vocational school and twelve (12) years minimum of appropriate and progressive experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience for a total fourteen (14) years. One year of relevant experience can be substituted for one year of college; alternatively, one year of college where relevant courses are taken can be substituted for one year of experience.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
Work Environment:
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates. Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions. Office is located on site in Government spaces at: Ft. Benning, GA.
Equipment and Machines:
Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine, and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.
Attendance:
Regular hours will be between Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Essential Functions:
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no electronic devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
