Statement of Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Call Center Registration Supervisor, the registrar identifies the department and their first name while answering pre registration telephone calls, in a professional manner, for outpatient and surgical day scheduled appointments, ENDO and Rehab pre registrations, as well as walk-in LAB and X-Ray pre registrations.The registrar is responsible for identifying the correct patient, verifying patient demographic, insurance (eligibility), and physician information, to insure accuracy each and every time.The registrar works closely with the many ancillary department secretaries and physician offices, to check on appointments/visits for the patient and/or to resolve account issues prior to actually pre registering the account, or shortly thereafter.This reflects the overall summary of the job description.The registrar performs other duties as the need arises or as policies change.More specific duties are listed in this document and in the attached addendum.

Experience:Hospital/Physician Office Registration work helpful-Call Center experience helpful-Secretarial or Clerical Experience helpful-Data entry experience helpful

Looking to interview candidates with excellent customer service and computer skills for a very busy hospital call center.
Must be dependable and flexible and able to work 8 hour shifts, sitting at a desk, wearing a headset.
Must be able to work in an open floor plan.
The applicant must be available to work with only an hour or so notice to cover for any unscheduled absence.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
