VP Business Development - Terrifugia

Key responsibilities and activities:
o Clearly and effectively representing Terrafugia to external parties
o Managing the investment pipeline
o Generating qualified investment leads
o Screening qualified potential investors for the board
o Closing deals with approved potential investors
o Directing efforts aimed at deepening relationships with new investors
o Implementing business development strategy aligned with the business objectives
o Identifying and cultivating relationships with potential strategic partners
o Identifying emerging market opportunities and monitoring competitor activities
o Reporting on all related performance metrics to the leadership team and board
Requirements:
o A university degree in a relevant technical, financial or business discipline
o Over 10 years of proven experience building and managing an investment pipeline
o Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
o Demonstrated ability establishing and developing business relationships, and winning
projects in the general aviation, aerospace, or automotive field
o Knowledge and understanding of commercial, economic and business trends relating to
the aviation and transportation industry
