Full time Security Officer/Vehicle Operator needed to perform guard and patrol duties to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, fire, flood or similar disasters. Job Functions include the following:
Assist in reception functions and maintain visitor control area.
Transport students to activities and appointments.
Ensure physical security of buildings and property.
Ensure student/visitor check in and check out procedures are followed.
Adhere to safety practices and OSHA standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Must have High School Diploma or GED and two years experience or combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential duties and functions of job. Valid state drivers license with acceptable driving record required. Must obtain Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards Training (DPSST) certification within 10 days of employment; on site training provided. CDL permit and CDL medical certification and CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment are required; company paid training, licensing and certifications.
$12.30 per hour plus full benefits package available including company paid and optional benefits, holidays, vacations and sick/personal time off.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
