About the position:
Blackstone Technology Group
is hiring an Integration Engineer who will join our E2open Certified Professional Services team that has extensive experience implementing the suite of E2open Business Network products. These products support complex, multi-company, supply chain management workflows and B2B supply chain data interchanges. You will join the Supply Chain Management Digital Practice team to support implementations of supply chain solutions for E2open customers and their trading partners.
Technical Qualifications
Required
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT (or equivalent)
Minimum of two years demonstrated experience with Java
Experience working in a Unix or Linux environment
Experience working with a Relational Database Management System(s) (RDBMS)
Experience working with XML messaging concepts and practices, and standard communication protocols
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the tenacity and logical approach to bring problems to resolution
Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently work with remote teams to plan and prioritize work to meet project deadlines
Working knowledge of IDE tools, such as Eclipse
Preferred
Experience with B2B projects and initiatives in the logistics or supply chain area
Experience with database query language(s), preferably SQL
Working knowledge of EDI document specifications, integration maps
Experience using data integration ETL tools and languages such as XML, Web Services, XSLT, XPath, or Informatica
Experience using JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, SVN, or Ant/Maven
Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos
Other Qualifications
Experience with full SDLC processes and adaptable to different methodologies such as Agile
Strong work ethic with ability to think creatively and work independently on complex development tasks with great attention to detail
Proven ability to solve complex technical and business problems
Strong listening, writing, and verbal skills
Flexible with working hours to support remote and distributed project teams in different time zones and countries
Some travel may be required during the training period or during project implementations to customers' or E2Open's offices
Responsibilities
Design and implement B2B data integration and supply chain management solutions for SCM E2Open product suite
Support continuous development, testing, and integration of multiple, possibly concurrent customer deployments to support all phases of the SDLC
Work with Solution Architect and Technical Hub lead to establish functional and technical specifications for each custom solution
Analyze complex data sources and implement business processes to integrate/transform data between E2open customers and their trading partners
Work with remote teams to quickly and efficiently implement customized integration modules and data conversion maps for data transformation
Utilize technical knowledge and debugging skills to troubleshoot and solve data integration issues
Work with appropriate parties with a sense of urgency to ensure issues are resolved accurately and in a timely manner
Participate in updating technical training materials, how-to guides and mentor and support other team members
