Systems Analyst-Software Configuration

Job Level Specific Duties
o Participates in development of innovative solutions to improve environment and reduce overall support.
o Works with more senior team members in developing build plans and / or implementing build plans.
o Displays a working knowledge of application packaging utilizing current technologies.
o Follows established parameters for configuration, testing, and debugging.
o Provides build and release management for project /product components.
o Manages environment / system configuration changes.
o Manages access control to various project configuration directories.
o Interfaces with customer and account based teams on projects.
o Performs basic server administration related in support of configuration management tool.
Typical Years of Experience
o Typically requires 3-5 years relevant experience.
Minimum Education and Certifications
o Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Skills
o Demonstrates a basic understanding of current scripting technologies, programming languages, and batch commands.?
o Demonstrates a thorough understanding of MS Sysprep and OS Imaging methodologies.?
o Demonstrates basic understanding of defining, managing and validating configuration areas using common tools like Concurrent Versions System (CVS), Visual Source Safe (VSS), ClearCase, SubVersion (SVN) for individual projects.
o Demonstrates basic knowledge of windows server administration to include AD and LDAP.
o In-depth knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices.
o Ability to identify, define, manage and control configuration items in the configuration management tools.
Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions
o Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
o Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
o Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
