A UX Specialized Logistics subsidiary, CASA Express is seeking Drivers for the Avenel NJ Area (CLOSE TO STATEN ISLAND, NY CARTERET, NJ)
Responsibilities:
The Route Driver is responsible for providing efficient and safe delivery of perishables to our customers within the Avenel NJ area.
The driver operates a refrigerated truck and also operates a hand truck to assist when making deliveries.
Our drivers deliver orders to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time.
They are expected to provide professional customer service and timely reporting to supervisors and assigned dispatchers regarding lateness, damaged or missing products.
Qualifications:
21 years of age or older A minimum of 1 year commercial truck driving experience (recent) Must be willing to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screening Consent to a criminal background check Ability to clearly communicate and read in English Driving knowledge of NYC Streets preferred Must be able to work weekends (Saturday Sunday) and Holidays Must be able to work a flexible shift (mornings and/or evenings, overnight) Ability to complete all basic and recurring training Must be able to deliver orders up to 50lbs in weight to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time this may include walking up or down several flights of stairs Must be comfortable interacting with customers Must have a strong commitment to customer service and safety Able to use a Mobile AppMotor Vehicle Record requirements:
Must have a valid NY, NJ or PA driver license CDL is not required, but a plus 3 points or less on a motor vehicle report No suspensions (regardless of cause) Valid medical cardCompensation:
$15.
00 / hour Full-time position Benefits Package.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
