Cinder Solutions is excited to announce a new opening for a Software Engineer for one of our growing clients in Santa Clara, CA. This is a full time, 40 an hour a week position. We offer all full time employees are offered a full competitive benefits package including PTO and healthcare benefits.
Job Description:
Our client is searching for a solid iOS Guru with extensive background in Cloud and Web services.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with a lead engineer to design and build advanced applications and APIs for the iOS platform
- Collaborate with high energy, agile, cross-functional teams.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 5
years of software development experience
- 3
years of iOS development
- Experience in publishing iOS apps in the app store
- A deep familiarity with XCode, Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
- Knowledge of Swift is a strong plus
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience in agile software development methodologies including Scrum and TDD
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated application delivery (has at least 1 iOS app on the app store)
- Agile development experience working with a team.
- Experience working with testers
- Unit test development experience
