PROJECT Overview:
The scope of this effort is to provide logistics and program management support for Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc (WBB). JOB DESCRIPTION AND
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, analytical support, and tactical level subject matter expertise to logistics and maintenance initiatives.
Provide support to customers in reviewing and updating Air Force, Joint, and DOD policies.
Provide inputs for high level strategic planning, policy/process/procedures development, business process improvements, and review of compliance and development of overall performance standards.
Provide briefing, review, and facilitation support for customer meetings and workshops.
Capture meeting minutes and track action items.
Draft, edit and revise reports and briefs.
Support comment review and comment adjudication.
Support customer workshops and decision support sessions.
Provide subject matter expertise during proposal development.
Provide insights to Air Force readiness requirements and reporting procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Fifteen (15) years' related acquisition logistics or operational maintenance or supply support experience, at least 5 years of in a leadership position.
Functional expertise in life cycle logistics
Experience with weapon system sustainment planning and execution, product support management, sustaining engineering and depot maintenance planning
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management at the wholesale level and/or retail level
Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and required sustainment planning during each phase
Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to lead a collaborative team in completing complex projects
Excellent communication skills, both writing and verbal
Advanced Microsoft Office skills for Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Active Secret clearance
DESIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Significant experience with defense acquisition management processes as outlined in DoD 5000 series directives
Clear understanding of the Department of the Air Force acquisition and sustainment organizations at the headquarters, MAJCOM and field levels
Familiarity with the DoD's Integrated Product Support Element structure
DOD Acquisition Certification (DAWIA) Level III for Life Cycle Logistics and/or Program Management Level III
Familiarity with the DoD Product Support Business Case Analysis Process and the DoD Logistics Assessment Process (published 2011)
Familiarity with the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook and the process for developing Life Cycle Sustainment Plans
Technical or business-related Master's Degree
Experience working with Microsoft Access. Project and Visio
