Summary
Human Resources Generalist - P3
Partner with the various business groups to provide guidance, consultation, and direction regarding employee relations, performance management, development, staffing needs, and organizational changes. Develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization and acts as a trusted and valued business partner that ensures the integration of HR programs.
Purpose and Mission
Partner with leaders to understand and support business group needs; communicate business strategies and trends to HR functional groups to enable the development of tailored solutions.
Manage and provide counsel on employee relations matters including conflict resolution, performance issues, conducting initial investigations, and separations.
Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies, processes and procedures to support organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting affecting human resources functions are in compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
Manage the affirmative action plan(s), with an emphasis on compliance and diversity as it relates to recruitment, hiring, promotions, transfers and terminations.
Guide employees and managers through the performance management process to include goal setting, performance reviews, succession planning, career planning, and workforce planning.
Assist managers with designing effective organizations, defining necessary skills and competencies, and developing job descriptions
Manage the new hire onboarding program and content to ensure it prepares the employee for success.
Research and introduce human resources best practice concepts to ensure that the organization is proactively considering new strategies
Serve as a champion for HR program change management; facilitates and influences processes to help drive and sustain performance and other change efforts.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and additional experience.
PHR or SPHR certification highly preferred
Minimum of five years of HR generalist experience with a heavy emphasis on employee relations and compliance
Strong working knowledge of HR principles and practices
Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
High level of professionalism & self-confidence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keen understanding of confidentiality
Proven ability in making strong judgment calls
Strong conflict management skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
