DUTIES:
1) Primarily responsible for reliability improvement of existing and new products.
2) Root cause analysis of inverter production failures and field returns.
3) Suggest design improvements to increase product reliability.
4) Qualification test of new components.
5) Validation testing, thermal testing, ALT and HALT for new products.
6) DFMEA analysis of new products.
7) MTBF and useful life analysis.
8) Design experiments to duplicate field conditions that lead to failures.
9) Interaction with customer service and production departments as needed.
10) Additional duties may be assigned, as business circumstances require.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
BSEE with 3 years' experience OR
MS with 2 years' experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
1) Prior experience with high voltage, high power electronics.
2) Minimum 2 years practical experience in analog and digital circuit troubleshooting.
3) Support of new product introduction into a fast-paced production environment.
4) Experience in circuit design for long useful life and high MTBF.
5) General PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
6) Ability to run Windows based interfaces to inverters and test equipment.
7) Prior experience developing and writing test procedures, test plans and test reports.
8) Ability to work independently and prioritize your tasks.
9) Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
10) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English is essential.
11) Strong organizational and time management skills.
12) Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
