Summary: Interprets systems of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls for machines and equipment such as arc, Sonic & vibration welders, robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL UP TO 75% OF THE TIME.
Write, correct and debug PLC programs.
Troubleshoot and correct complex PLC related issues.
Discuss project with Supervisor and Manufacturing Applications Engineer to review functions of machines and equipment.
Implement control systems if and where necessary.
Mark up or correct electrical schematics utilizing CAD if and where necessary.
Utilize flow chart system for sequence and timing control.
Confer with Industrial Equipment Assembler & Wirer to resolve problems regarding building of controls systems based on past experiences and lessons learned.
Review schematics with customer's representatives to answer questions during installation of robot systems and other machines.
Observes gauges and other critical functions during trial runs of programmed machines and equipment operation to verify that electrical signals in system conform to specifications.
Understand and confirm controls for energy conversion requirements or other industrial plant monitoring systems.
Manage outside equipment suppliers.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelors Degree from a four-year College or University.
Three to five years related Assembly Equipment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three Years minimum experience with Auto-Cad Machine Layout.
Competent in creating electrical schematic, Profibus, Robot Integration,
Electrical System Design, Controls Design, Ethernet Communications and Allen Bradley.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
