Sr. Process Controls Engineer
Port Arthur, Texas
As a Product Development professional, you will provide process control engineering support and assistance for the development and maintenance of advanced process control installations. You will also support Operations on existing control loops by applying improved regulatory control strategies. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in either Chemical or Electrical Engineering, and possess 8 or more years of engineering experience. Six of those years should be in process control; 3-plus years must include process control experience in petrochemical, manufacturing, mining, fertilizer, refinery or pulp/paper (on the bleach-chemical side). It is essential that you have strong technical knowledge of the fundamentals of controls engineering and controls systems. Experience with either Foxboro I/A, AspenTech DMCplus or Triconex SIS systems would be preferred, however, can be acquired through developmental training.
