Role Description
Pfizer Consumer Healthcare is seeking an experienced Shopper & Category Insights Manager to support the GI/Personal Care & Front End categories. The S&CI Manager is a consultant to our customers and internal teams that identifies opportunities to deliver category, customer, and PCH growth through insight based recommendations. The role emands high energy, assertive leadership skills, an aptitude to resolve complex problems, understand market dynamics and employ strong decision making skills. The Shopper & Category Insights Manager assesses trends, analyzes shopper data and syndicated/point of sale data to identify key customer opportunities for growth. A solid understanding of Category Management processes and practices and ability to collaborate with both internal and external teams in the areas of effective product assortment, shelf merchandising, promotional and pricing recommendations is essential to success.
Responsibilities
The S&CI Manager - GI/Personal Care & Front End will:
oDevelop rich business insights by bringing together multiple data sources including POS, primary and secondary research, and shopper platforms to support business building strategies for GI / Personal Care and Front End
oAct as the category expert by delivering category best practice presentations that identify category opportunities for our customers.
oComplete customer category review process utilizing category analysis, shopper insights and available analytic tools.
oDevelop customer presentations, recommendations for new item introductions and plan-o-gram reviews.
oEstablish strong, multi-level working relationships with the assigned customers based on mutual trust and integrity.
oCommunicate and reinforce brand strategies & priorities to the Team.
oInitiate & synchronize brand strategies/priorities with customer strategies for a win-win. Execute new product initiatives accordingly.
oSupport category management growth through the application of the most recent sales technologies including shelf management technologies, point of sale systems and assortment optimization applications, with emphasis on fact based selling.
oDemonstrate expertise in category management and efficient assortment to the customer.
oUtilize shelf management software and category expertise to provide recommendations for shelf placement for new items and existing products with an objective of securing distribution/placement that is mutually beneficial for Pfizer and the account.
oCoordinate Fair Share of Shelf support. Develop plan-o-gram's using plan-o-gram software.
oDetermine the effectiveness of Pfizer and competitive promotions through post-analysis, and make recommendations to the account.
oProvide category management support for internal processes.
oBe proficient in interpreting shopper and consumer research to drive category solutions development with our customers.
oActively participate in team building and best practice sharing to increase team effectiveness.
oWork across all functional areas of the customer development team in developing the business.
oManage scorecard and monitor the execution of AMPSS activities in line with established objectives
Qualifications
Education and
Experience:
oFour-year college degree a must
o5-8 Years of Shopper Insights and Category Management experience with a major (national) retailer, or 5
years of equivalent CPG industry experience. OTC experience a plus
oExperience in a Category Advisor and/or Validator role
Technical Skills Requirements:
oExperience turning insights into strategies and actionable recommendations
oAbility to craft a complelling, fact based, selling story
oExpertise with MS Office, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
oExpert knowledge of Syndicated POS data (IRI / Nielsen), HH Panel, Spectra, JDA Space Planning
oStatistical aptitude
oAbility to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities
oExcellent communication and negotiation skills

Physical Position Requirements:
20% travelEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
