We are currently looking for a Director of Cable Operations & Strategy. This position is located in our Bethpage, Long Island headquarters. We offer free shuttle bus to the LIRR 4x a day for those that commute via LIRR.

The Cable Operations Strategy Director will provide leadership, vision, and advise Operations VP's, SVP's, and the EVP about key strategic issues such as restructuring, progression, and how to improve profitability, customer service efficiency, competitive advantage, and share value, leveraging both internal and external insights. This person will have the ability to create and deliver C-Suite and board level presentations.
The Director is the focal point for operational strategy within Customer Service, which includes subject matter expertise, industry insights, data analysis and leading task forces. This position interfaces with senior management throughout the company to collaborate on strategic and tactical solutions that impact Customer Service. The Director works closely with the EVP Operations, VP of Strategy and Administration, VP of Operations Engineering to ensure implementation of strategies, institute rigor and consistent approach to establishing roadmaps, as well as identify and drive success-based metrics.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to operational enhancement opportunities that drive operational experience, resource collaboration and balancing, task force leadership, data and analytics studies, budgetary compliance and financial related projections for strategic initiatives. This position will also include the responsibilities to deliver defined strategies and tactics, as well as defining and supporting future strategies and goals.
This position will partner with the VP of Strategy and Administration and VP Operations Engineering and EVP Operations to develop the strategic creation of a long-term vision, design and development of policies and business rules for the customer facing organization along with the design and build of the processes and solutions for the front line workforce. This position plays a critical role in the identification and substantiation of tools needed to improve the efficiency of the workforce.
Critical to this position is to partner with executives from across Cablevision's Product, Marketing, and Engineering groups to identify and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving the experience of our 3
million customers. In summary, the vision for this position will include oversight responsibility for the processes, metrics and management to insure the integrity and performance of the CS organization moving forward.
oBachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

years of experience developing business strategy and supporting the execution and delivery of that strategy, change, or transformation; leading initiatives related to strategic direction; and leading initiatives related to delivering operational improvements.

years of hands-on project/program management experience on major technology and BU projects demonstrating the strategic use of technology to improve business processes and to support critical business strategies.
o10
years of facilitation/leadership experience in which several of the following abilities have been demonstrated: building executive-level customer relationships and responding to strategic business needs; strategic thinking, leadership and relationship management; managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects/programs; leading multidisciplinary, high-performance teams; and developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
oCertified in Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma practices preferred - Black Belt or Master Black Belt a plus.
oExperience with managing projects following a quality control program.
oExperience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale technical projects from conception through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.
oExperience in business process re-engineering or process improvement desirable, involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change.
oExperience creating, justifying and managing large multi-million dollar operating budgets.
oKnowledge of industry business practices and strategic direction.
oUndertaking research into the industry sector, markets and current trends.
oExceptional management ability that can develop and energize a multi-disciplined organization, which includes business analysts, data analysts, process engineers, and others.
oDemonstrated organizational management skills in a highly complex, fast growing environment including personnel management (hiring, recruiting, staffing, mentoring, coaching and reviewing), budget management and business planning.
oExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers, sponsors, staff, senior management, vendors, and contractors.
oAn ability to present and discuss technical, functional and management information in a clear and concise way that explains complex topics, is persuasive and promotes consensus.
oStrong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
oAbility to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management and customer.
oHighly flexible, creative and inquisitive.
oExperience interfacing with senior/executive leaders.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
