Summary: Responsible for collaborating with colleagues to define requirements, architect, design, implement, and test major components for this portal, using a variety of modern languages.

Major Job Duties: Architect, design, and implement major server-side and client-side (front-end) components. Collaborate with the team to develop and evolve a very intuitive User Experience, incorporating input from colleagues, site metrics, and user feedback. Identify and investigate key requirements and solutions. Work closely with integration engineers and IT team to integrate this portal with enterprise systems. Deliver software of the highest quality through good design, attention to detail, clever use of automated testing, and direct unit and system testing. Deliver components on aggressive schedules. Collaborate with other members of the product development team throughout the development lifecycle.

Education/
Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 8-10 years experience in software development. 9
years working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/AJAX. 9
years developing in Java / Enterprise Java / J2EE, Ruby on Rails (RoR), PHP 5, or other object-oriented web frameworks. Background in Web Services and related technologies (XML, JSON, SOAP).

Skills and Competencies: Strong ability to develop and analyze requirements and to architect, design, and implement high-quality software solutions to meet those requirements. Solid object-oriented design, programming, and debugging skills. Proficient in leveraging development tools - source code mgmt, IDEs, and debuggers. Proven track record for project delivery. Highly motivated self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent team player, eager to learn from others and to share skills with colleagues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills and
Experience: Experience developing and deploying enterprise-class web sites. Skilled in database design, SQL, query performance analysis, and query optimization. Experience in site scalability, performance analysis, optimization, and SEO. Experience working with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and related systems. Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
