Work Opportunities Unlimited, founded in 1982 is a community-based employment service provider specializing in placing job seekers who experience barriers to employment. The Manager of a Career Services Team is responsible for ensuring that the community-based Career Resource Specialist (CRS) team delivers excellent client services. In some markets, the Manager is also responsible for providing direct service to clients.
The Manager is expected to spend a minimum of 50% of his/her time in the field working to coach, mentor, train, and evaluate the CRS team, including modeling business development activities. The Manager is also responsible for management of the financial budget for the team, maintaining relationships with and securing referrals from referral sources, and ensuring that quality and compliance standards are maintained.
A Bachelor's Degree is required. Experience managing a team in an outcome-based environment is preferred.
Supervision (preferably within a service industry)
Successful implementation of a business service improvement
Ability to articulate clearly the concepts that lead to success
Development and management of a budget
Leadership skills
Travel in and around the local community and surrounding areas is required for this position. A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance will also be needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
