Description
Oversee and manage various areas of plant production of food products.
Plan, schedule, organize and delegate production needs. Ensure that lines are staffed properly to produce product. Ensure thsat employees are trained to perform the job to which they are assigned. Adminster work rules and company policies in a fair and consistent manner.
Produce product in accordance with SOP's, HACCP, GMP, PSM, EPA,and OSHA requirements and product specifications. Monitor production acitivities.
Train, coach and motivate employees. Maintain attendance record of employees. Administer employee discipline for attendance and performance deficiencies.
Ensure that all required records are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Respond to findings from internal and external audits and inspections. Minimize waste by monitoring scrap rates.
Track and control man-hours and efficiencies. Ensure that employee pay rates are adjusted if they work in a higher-rated position.
Solve problems requiring immediate and decisive action. Investigate and dtermine thew root cause of problems
Interact with support departments. Complete or check work orders for equipment repairs.
Complete and attach UMI tags on equiment, as needed.
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge and experience with food processing and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proven leadership ability. Must be able to identify and report or correct any food safety and food security concerns.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
