Summary:
Supervise all personnel on the ASP Team. Execute all ASP management functions and service and support requirements with internal and external agencies in support of the installation DOL. Responsible for ensuring all supply and maintenance requirements, unit needs are met, and performance standard are achieved. Rack and resolve all ASP related concerns and issues having importance to the installation customers, commander and principle staff. Supervise all aspects of supply management work (e.g., inventory management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Resolve customer complaints and answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures.
? Supervise the work of materiel managers to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
? Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems.
? Evaluate employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action.
? Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to staff.
? Supervise ASP functions IAW AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 725-50, and DA PAM 710-2-2
? Respond to functional requirements from forward elements when deployed and be prepared to support all contingency operations.
? Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
? Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.
? Direct team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
? Report project plans, progress, and results.
? Direct and support the compilation and analysis of technical source data necessary for product development.
Preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
? Knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
? Knowledge of SAAS-Mod STAMIS system process and operations.
? Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
? Give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
? Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
? Determine causes of operating errors and recommend or apply applicable solutions.
? Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
? The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

? Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.
Additional Position Information:
Bachelor Degree in Management, Business, or related field is desirable. Training in ASP operations or equivalent is required. Must have a thorough knowledge of Army logistics and Ammunition management. Have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of Army technical and functional ASP/SAAS-MOD and logistics operations experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
