Expectations
Be an active supporter of team endeavors to make EF a high performance workplace
Work safely with complete adherence to all safety procedures, including safety glasses and earplugs
Attention to details in all extrusion process duties
Constantly observe the high speed movement of yarn to prevent accidents, mistakes or waste
Perform string-up of all broken out positions by restringing yarn around godets
Operate the aspirator (air vac) to string-up or attach extruded yarn to package
Demonstrate dependability and consistent, punctual attendance for all work assignments
Observe and comply with all EF policies and contribute to the EF culture of a high performance workplace
Physical Requirements
Physical strength and ability to perform moderate manual labor for extended periods under standard industrial work conditions
Must be able to lift and control packages of yarn weighing up to 16 pounds and push a buggy of yarn weighing up to 450 pounds for up to 200 feet
Must be able to crouch down to winder 1' from the floor and stand to reach tack box 6' overheadEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
