Position Overview
Applies industrial engineering concepts, practices, and procedures to analyze operational
data/methods, identify performance improvement opportunities, and/or implement changes
in process and technology to attain business objectives. Provides operational analyses and
recommendations to management.
Responsibilities
1. Functions as an internal consultant to operations management and influences strategic
decision making and execution
2. Defines, develops and coordinates processes, standards, methods, and measurements for
perational business activities
3. Develops decision-oriented metrics and maintains familiarity with different types and
application of measurement systems
4. Analyzes operational data, processes and methods, identifies root causes, and makes
recommendations for improvement
5. Manages cross-functional projects and facilitates change management and ongoing
improvement initiatives
6. Works with IT resources to document business requirements, test, implement and refine
technology solutions to improve productivity and performance.
7. Prepares accurate and detailed financial expenditure and/or cost justification proposals
and evaluations for all projects and initiatives
8. Facilitates the development and implementation of operational methods training aligned
with performance metrics to improve and optimize performance
9. Travels to work locations to conduct audits of operational methods and processes and
provide training.
Education and Experience Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related technical or quantitative degree
(e.g., mathematics) with 3 - 5 years of experience analyzing processes, defining methods,
developing and applying measurement tools to manage and optimize operational
performance are required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may
be considered.
? Master's degree in management, engineering or a related field strongly preferred.
? Experience in routing, scheduling and logistics strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
? Knowledge of industrial engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
? Knowledge of optimization and simulation routines
? Knowledge of process improvement concepts and practices
? Relationship management and influencing skills
? Knowledge training techniques and adult learning principles
? Written and verbal communication skills, including executive presence and presentation
skills
? Conflict resolution skills
? Business and financial acumen
? Quantitative analytical skills and attention to details
? Knowledge of applied statistics and mathematics
? Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
? Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
? Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
