## Description
Responsibilities/Requirements included but not limited to:
Education and/or Experience - HS Diploma /GED required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provide leadership for team in performing responsibilities and maintaining continuous improvement.
Facilitates communication between team, support groups and management.
Provide leadership to ensure team objectives around safety, quality, delivery and cost are met.
Delegate daily duties to team members.
Actively participate in leadership development activities sponsored by BorgWarner.
Sustain the Operator Certification process.
Work with operators to assist trouble-shooting activities for set-up, tool and equipment adjustments.
Compile, store and retrieve production data as necessary.
Prepare schedules and coordinate activities to ensure production and quality meets specifications.
Ensure timely and accurate production reporting.
Relay reschedules to planning as needed on a day-to-day basis (missed shipments).
Assist the PQT in performing quality, SPC and documentation requirements.
Ensure monthly safety training occurs.
Identify unsafe work practices and work with Safety Leader to resolve.
Perform other duties as assigned.
## Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/JOB TRAINING
Basic level of general education.
Must pass the Company competency test.
Five (5) GCSEs at grade C (including Maths and English) preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Must have some experience, minimum 1 year of working in a similar engineering/mechanical environment.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
A hands-on ability to predominantly operate production equipment and processes to attain delivery precision and accuracy. (Functional/Technical Skills)
Enjoys working hard. Is action oriented and full of energy. (Action Oriented)
Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully. (Drive for Results)
Demonstrated willingness to learn (Personal Development)
Flexible and open to change.
Punctuality and good attendance record.
