General
Summary:
As Manager, Global Advertising, this individual is a marketing communications leader and a visible champion of brand building, responsible for guiding the development of best-in-class communications that drives business results. This individual is accountable both for providing informal counsel and formal training that inculcates best-practices, and for demonstrating thought leadership via synthesizing and socializing implications of internal and external trends. This individual plays a significant role in agency management, ranging from acting as a liaison between brand and agency, to partnering with procurement on scopes of work and agency evaluations. The role is also responsible for helping to advance the company's Hispanic marketing efforts by providing subject matter expertise that can be leveraged at all stages of the communications development process.
Primary
Responsibilities:

Provides counsel on brand advertising at all stages, including: strategy development, copy development, research, execution, and performance evaluation.

Informal and formal training and best-practice sharing.

Manages external agency relationships including: leading communications development processes; partnering with procurement to develop and manage scopes of work; leading agency evaluations.
Job Complexity:

Provides counsel to internal clients (marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders) and agencies on all aspects of marketing communications, including: positioning, communications briefs, assessing and selecting creative concepts, refining and strengthening concepts, production of assetts and in-market evaluation and measurement.

Gain an in-depth understanding of Campbell's Brand Impact tools, templates and processes, and provide real-time input and counsel to internal and external stakeholders on how to leverage Brand Impact at all stages of communications development.

Partner with media, design, shopper marketing, PR and digital colleagues, throughout the communications process, to drive the development of fully integrated programs.

Collaborate with internal colleagues -- media, social media, digital insights and analytics, digital asset production - to drive the development and execution of digital communications that have clearly defined metrics and that can be optimized in real time.

Develop training materials and conduct training that instills best practices and develops best-in-class marketing talent across the organization.

Continually leverage unique cross-portfolio view to help individual brand teams and agencies maintain awareness of the plans, activities and strategies of other brands across the enterprise.

Collaborate with procurement and other stakeholders to lead agency scope of work creation and agency evaluations.

Collaborate with the research department on advertising-related qualitative and quantitative research.

Acts as matrix manager for internal social media personnel, to drive consistent messaging across all consumer touch-points

Acts as liaison between Business Units and Geographies (including: Campbell's North America, Pepperidge Farm, Australia, Bolthouse, Plum) facilitating the sharing of best practices, learnings, most recent plans and work, etc.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

years of advertising/ marketing experience/digital marketing with a proven track record of results-driven success.
Preferred
Qualifications:

Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills for constructing marketing initiatives for CPG across the continuum of awareness, acquisition, conversion, and retention.

Candidate must have a strong grasp of business strategy and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong knowledge of both online and traditional marketing strategy, tactics, media, and program measurement methodologies.

Ability to interface and influence mid to senior-level marketers and agency personnel, as well as all cross- functional partners including legal, IT, research, shopper marketing and PR.
