The e-Commerce Marketing Manager position will facilitate the process of enhancing hotel revenue through Hotel Website Optimization and Search Engine Optimization. The E-Commerce Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of property based e-commerce programs for all Crestline Hotels & Resort properties.
The objective of this position is to analyze and develop strategies to maximize profitability in conjunction with the Revenue Management Team. This position organizes and/or reviews the planning, design and execution of e-Commerce related action items for the hotels. The position will support the overall development of e-Commerce marketing activities for all Crestline hotels in conjunction with the sales efforts of the Corporate Sales Team.
Establish standardized 3rd Party Internet tracking to include corporate rollup reports
Complete website audits for all hotels on a quarterly basis
Update hotel websites to ensure compliance auditing of mandatory program participation
Maintain and improve all third party partner relations
Source of Business tracking and reporting
Page rank monitoring with action plans to improve rankings where needed
Complete monthly website review meetings and complete action plans for updates needed
Ensure hotels are optimized with their sites
Possess in-depth understanding of all brand standards and available resources and assist the branded hotels to ensure that they are maximizing all available resources
Build direct relationships with brand contacts to ensure all hotels benefit from all brand tools and available ecommerce programs.
Assist with e-mail programs/campaigns/newsletters
Monitor traffic (possibly to include updating meta-tags for properties)
Create and analyze reports. Provide summary with suggested actions to corporate team.
Set up tracking for online sales opportunities
Oversee website content for all corporate and hotel sites.
Compile data to analyze and interpret marketing, sales and historical competitive data in developing marketing tactics
Assist in building and improving email marketing strategies
Communicate with the Revenue Management team as needed to implement package pricing, promotional participation and the execution of marketing promotions online
Communicate with corporate sales team to leverage marketing and awareness of hotels through all available e-channels
Monitor and ensure that all Crestline Hotels are appropriately represented on all 3rd party channels
Assist in the development, presentation and execution of property specific e-Commerce marketing plans
Develop and execute a basic Crestline Hotels revenue management & e-commerce training program for new entry-level Revenue Managers to ensure that the company and brand standards for the revenue management process are understood and practiced consistently for the maximum effectiveness
Some travel to hotels in US destinations may be required (less than 20% of the time).
Execute other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the RVP of Sales, EVP of Sales & Marketing or the RVP of Operations.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (four year college, university or foreign equivalency) required.

Experience:
Experience working with either Marriott or Hilton brand e-Commerce is required.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience with e-commerce and/or with third party internet providers required
Must possess strong technical and analytical skills
Ability to manage change effectively
Ability to conceptualize the mission and goals of the organization and to communicate and inspire employees to achieve those goals
Experience making presentations in front of a group
