Wells Fargo Advantage Funds (Funds Management Group- FMG) is seeking a Senior Business Systems Consultant (BSC) to work closely with business stakeholders and sponsors to understand business process and needs as well as help lead the Business Analysis and architecture practice. FMG skillfully guides institutions, financial advisors, and individuals through the investment terrain to help them reach their financial objectives.
The selected candidate will act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to providing business process in the development and implementation with a large complex customer relationship management system, . and other Sales, Call Center and Marketing applications. This individual must have the basic ability to translate business requirements into functional design documentation, testing, implementation and statements of work. Some experience providing assistance and guidance to the line of business consumers, with the creation of design documents such as use cases, process flows, logical data models, functional requirements & statements of work will be critical in the success for this role.

Works with business team members to identify options and solutions for their project-based business needs. Document project requirements as defined by the business user group(s). Work closely with Project Managers, Application Engineers and Quality Assurance Analysts to review detailed requirements and understand technical recommendations and constraints, and develop and document comprehensive and accurate functional specifications to include UI design, logical model and usability. Basic knowledge of database concepts is preferred. Works closely with the application Business Product Owner to review detailed requirements and understand technical recommendations and constraints.
BUSINESS SUPPORT RELATED
Responsibilities:
Provides escalated Tier 2 Support for production issues and requests related to business system functionality. Works with IT Technical Team to help assess and priorities business system defects. Builds strong business and technical relationships to foster the identification of potential system enhancements. Works with business user groups and IT Technical Teams to interpret production business data and system functionality. Assist in day-to-day business user FAQ and operational usage of system functionality.
Basic
Qualifications: 3
years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.
Minimum
Qualifications:

years of proven business analysis experience, providing business analysis processes, techniques, and tools.
Basic proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Microsoft Access.
Basic proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and presentation tools.
Preferred Skills:
Undergraduate degree in financial, technology or other business related field.
Understanding of software development and technology implementation methodologies, such as SCRUM SDLC, AGILE. Execution as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Analust in these methodologies.
Demonstrated time management skills during the completion of multiple project tasks and deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills - verbal and written.
Working knowledge of financial securities industry
Some experience supporting a Sales, Call Center or Marketing business unit
Salesforce and other Salesforce App Exchange product experience
