The Senior Accountant will work directly with the Controller and Financial Analysis and Planning Manager in their efforts to accomplish goals and objectives and provide world class accounting, financial, and business support. This includes detail analysis and presentation of financial data, preparation and recording of financial transactions. We require a strong, detail oriented individual who has solid analytical skills and ability.

Responsibilities
Actively lead month-end close process - booking journal entries, preparing accruals and providing detailed review and analysis
Perform monthly financial variance analysis, including research, documentation and communication of account fluctuations
Perform expense and balance sheet account analysis on accounts, including research and documentation as well as preparation of appropriate schedules and related reports.
Perform timely and effective monthly account reconciliations.
Maintain fixed assets and support operations with appropriate reporting.
Provide tax and audit support including preparation of required schedules.
Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous improvement, identifies and responds actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers, and is open and responsive to change.
Flexibility to work on special projects and unexpected events while completing routine tasks on a timely basis

Qualifications
Solid prioritizing, time management and analytical problem solving skills
Be an advocate for process improvement and willing to learn new skills
Ability to work well independently and in team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience - manufacturing desired
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
