Mechanical Designer

Immediate need for a Mechanical Designer to join an organization that develops and manufacturers solutions for industrial electrical components located in Gainesville, GA. Must have a B.S in Engineering with Solidworks experience to be considered. Candidate is responsible to create drawings based on specifications of client to develop and alter new and existing product. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities for the Mechanical Designer
Able to create drawings based on 3D model with bill of materials.
Manage small projects, including defining major steps, preparing costs estimates with support data, implement steps & complete project
Work with other departments on projects
Develop and design existing product to meet the specs of customer
Mechanical aptitude for assembling virtual components together logically to make virtual assembly
Requirements for the Mechanical Designer
B.S in Engineering is required
3D modeling training/experience is required
Solidworks experience is required
Experience creating drawings based on 3D model with bill of materials is highly preferred
