Oracle America, Inc. has openings for Applications Developers in Pleasanton, CA. Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. Responsible for analyzing and integrating external customer specifications. Specify, design, and implement changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality. Responsible for developing enterprise software for utilities sector. Specifically, work with Meter Data Management Team to create and enhance product used to manage traditional and new smart meter data.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in an engineering/programmer analyst -related occupation. Experience must include:
1) J2EE, Architectural framework involving scripting and Java as coding tools; 2) Oracle Utility Application Framework; 3) Eclipse, SQL developer; 4) Metadata, Integrated set of tools for application development; 5) HTML, JavaScript; 6) XML, Xpath; 7) Hibernate, Meter data processing applications; 8) Application performance concepts, Utility industry; and 9) Application Server, Application Integration.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
