Responsibilities
Provide strategic and tactical support to the IT Strategy and Planning organization by analyzing and interpreting server software installation data. In support of the Standard Operating Environment team, the data analyst will analyze all server software installation data across the Verizon footprint. The candidate will be responsible for identifying trends in the data and making strategic software decisions based on the data. Under the direction of a team lead, the data analyst will work closely with the individual IT portfolios to drive server software standards and track the elimination of non-standard server software across the environment. The data analyst will also help to prepare status reports and executive presentations to communicate team progress, accomplishments, and issues.
